No, SEG welcomes riders at every stage – from beginners to seasoned competitors and professionals, we have members of all experience levels.

1 January to 31 December. Memberships joined mid-year are charged the same annual rate – we do not pro rata, as most members ride year round.

Family covers up to 4 riders at the same residential address. If 2 riders live together the Family membership is the cost effective option.

No. Competing is an option not a requirement. So, you can ride at your pleasure, or for those non riders who want to be involved our Associate membership is perfect as it provides those members with insurance cover while on SEG grounds.

Securely via the Nominate platform – card or direct deposit are both supported. You receive a tax receipt via the email address you provide.

It doesn’t! Our membership fee is per rider, not per horse. More horses? No problems!

As often as you like. The only limiting factor to use of facilities is the weather and scheduled events. You should always check our site for grounds closures; you will see a banner at the top of the site if grounds are closed. Follow our Facebook page for ground closures or scheduled maintenance, add our SEG calendar to your personal calendar for your convenience and check out our regular newsletter for up-and-coming events.
