Roles we need on event days

See what the judge sees as you’re being their right hand. Enter scores and comments using SEG’s easy to use tablets.

Greet competitors, control numbers in the warmup area, call riders to the entry. This is an important role, support will be provided as needed, this role controls the flow of the competition for the ring or arena they steward.

Assist setting up dressage arenas, show jumps or working equitation obstacles before the competition starts. No pressure, follow directions and be able to lift and carry equipment.

Assist course designer to build new courses in between classes. Follow direction and be able to lift jump equipment.

Run the BBQ, and prepare and deliver meals to the officials throughout the day. Food handling knowledge required, support can be provided as needed.

Greet competitors on arrival and direct them to parking areas. Morning only job, happy demeanour esstential.

General assistance to the Competition organiser, may involve some admin, organisation, communication with officials. This is the main point for all competitors to hand in paperwork, ask questions and make class changes. Great way to learn the ins and outs of all the competitions.

Do you love the microphone? MC an event, make it fun, give shout outs to our amazing sponsors, keep our competitors up to date throughout the day and celebrate our winners and placegetters.
